The first few days of Nar Phu Trek felt normal enough and then the landscape started changing completely. Suddenly there were massive rock walls, dry hills and almost no trees. I kept stopping to take photos and then realizing everyone else had already walked ahead. The Kang La day was the toughest for me. The climb felt endless and the wind at the top was no joke. But standing there looking across the mountains was one of those moments where you just stay quiet for a while. Really glad I chose this route instead of doing only the more popular trails.

Nar Phu was different from what I expected, but in a good way. I thought I would remember the mountains most, but the small , beautiful villages stayed with me more. Some parts of the trail was quiet, with almost no people around, and some sections were rocky. The night in Nar was really cold, but waking up to the mountains outside made it worth it. This trek is not for someone looking for easy trails and comfortable hotels every night. For me, that was part of the fun. My guide Sudip was great and he took care of me really well. He was also extremely knowledgeable. thanks to mountain world treks and my guide for making this trip a huge success.

Just got back from Nar Phu and I’m still thinking about that trail between the cliffs. The valley gets quieter and quieter as you go in. Phu village was probably my favorite part. The old stone houses, narrow paths, prayer flags, and those huge mountains sitting right behind everything felt completely different from the usual trekking routes. Some days were hard, especially when the trail went higher and my legs were already tired, but I never felt rushed. Our guide, Bipin was good at knowing when we needed a break without making a big deal about it. Coming back to lower altitude felt strange after spending days up there.

This was my third trip to Nepal with Mountain World Treks, and once again they took great care of everything. This time I did the Nar Phu Valley Trek, and Saligram made the whole process easy before I even arrived. My guide, Niraj, was brilliant throughout the trek. He was patient, easy to talk to, and always checking that I was doing okay, especially on the longer days. Having someone local to share stories and explain things along the way made the experience even better. Nar Phu was unlike anywhere I’ve been before, and a big part of that was thanks to Niraj and the team. I’d happily recommend Mountain World Treks and I’m already hoping I’ll be back in Nepal again before too long.
