The Langtang Gosaikunda Lake Trek was really well planned from start to finish. As a first-time trekker, I was a little unsure about what to expect, but the guides (Niraj, Bipin) and porters made me feel comfortable throughout the journey.
They were helpful, patient, and always there when we needed them. The whole experience made me want to come back and explore more of Nepal with Mountain World Treks.
Great work, guys. Hope to see you again on the next trek.

Gosainkunda and Langtang Trek, Nepal
My recent langtang Gosaikunda Trek in Nepal in October was such a memorable experience. The mountains were beautiful and the trek was manageable, even though there were a few tiring parts. A big thank you to Saligram, who we all call Sali, and the whole Mountain World Treks team. They made sure everything was organized and that we were safe throughout the trek. Sali was focused, helpful, and always on top of things, but he also had a great sense of humor that kept the group laughing.
Our lead guide, Sudip, did a great job keeping everyone together, while the sweeper made sure nobody was left behind. And of course, the porters deserve a big thank you too. They carried heavy loads and still somehow managed to stay cheerful.
Really enjoyed the whole experience. Great job.

Wonderful experience!!
My friend and I were really happy with our Langtang Valley and Gosainkunda trek with Mountain World Treks. Everything was taken care of nicely, from the lodging and food to the little things along the way. Our guide, Niraj, was really good and the porter also took great care of us. We felt comfortable throughout the trek and never had to worry about much. The package was also reasonably priced, which was a nice bonus.
We genuinely enjoyed the whole experience and would happily recommend Mountain World Treks and the team to anyone planning a trek in Nepal. 🏔️

Good experience
Our guide Dinesh was really great throughout the Langtang Gosainkunda trek. He took good care of us, arranged the meals and sorted out everything we needed at the camps. He was friendly, easy to talk to, and always patient with our many questions. There were a few tiring days on the trail, but having someone like Dinesh around made things much easier. I’d definitely be happy to trek with him in the mountains again. Thank you, Dinesh!

That was harder than I expected
I thought this trek would be fairly easy because I had seen so many photos of Langtang before coming. Yeah… not exactly. 😂 The Langtang Valley part was manageable for me, but the Gosainkunda climb really tested me. There were moments when I was wondering why I had signed up for this. But our funny guide Dinesh and the scenery kept changing so much that I never got bored. One day you’re walking under trees, another day you’re surrounded by mountains, then suddenly the landscape becomes much more open and rocky. Gosainkunda was the biggest surprise for me. Photos don’t really show how peaceful it feels sitting beside the lake. I also liked that the trek didn’t feel overly crowded. We met other trekkers here and there, but there were plenty of quiet stretches where it was just our group walking. Very tired right now, but very happy I did it. will be visiting Nepal soon for next trek with Mountain world treks.

gosainkunda and langtang valley trek
Just finished the Langtang Valley and Gosainkunda trek. The first few days through Langtang were probably my favourite. Walking through the forest, small villages, bridges and then suddenly getting these huge mountain views was something I wasn’t expecting to enjoy this much. Kyanjin Gompa was cold but beautiful, and the morning view from Kyangjin ri was worth getting out of bed for.
The Gosainkunda section felt quite different. The climb was harder, especially towards the lake, and I was honestly questioning my decision a few times. Then you reach Gosainkunda and just stand there for a while. The lake, rocks, snow around it make it worth it.Some days were long and tiring, the food was basic, and the accommodation wasn’t exactly luxury, but comfortable enough after a whole day of walking and that’s part of the experience. Our guide, Bipin was patient whenever I was walking slowly and never made me feel rushed. Coming back to Kathmandu today, I already miss the mountains a little.
