I landed in Kathmandu on 17th March and started my Everest Base Camp Trek the very next day. From the moment I arrived, Sali took care of everything, from picking me up at the airport and explaining the trek to making sure I was okay throughout the journey. Tek was my guide, and he was honestly great. He looked after me throughout the trek, kept checking on me, and made sure I was comfortable on the trail. After all those days of walking, it felt good to finally make it back to Lukla safely.

Really appreciate Sali and Tek for taking such good care of me. Cheers to the whole team for the good work. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone planning an EBC trek in Nepal! 🏔️

This was my second trek with Sali in the last two years, and honestly, I came back to him because I had such a good experience the first time. What I like about Sali is that the experience never feels too formal or like you’re just another customer. He gives very personal attention, answers questions before the trip, and is quite flexible when plans or payments need to be adjusted. Even though he has other groups trekking at the same time, I always felt like someone was looking out for me.

His guides have also been great on both trips. Sali is especially helpful when things don’t go exactly as planned. Whether it was arranging a helicopter when needed or sorting out small things at the teahouses, he always found a way to help.

Really appreciate Sali and the whole team for taking care of me both times. If I trek in Nepal again, I already know who I’ll be calling.

This is our second time visiting Nepal for trekking adventures. Both trips ABC and EBC were organized by Sali. It has been a wonderful amazing experience exploring high peaks in Nepal. The guide Ishwor Duwadi, is not just excellent in helping me and my wife reach our dream of stepping on the feet of the world’s highest peaks, but also a good photographer taking amazing photos for good memories. “Every corner is majestic views”

I did the 12-day Everest Base Camp Trek with Mountain World Treks, and it became one of the most memorable adventures we’ve had. From the beginning, Sali, the owner, was very helpful. He patiently answered all our questions, explained the trek clearly, and made sure everything was arranged before we left. The flights, accommodation, and trekking arrangements all went smoothly, so we could focus on enjoying the journey.

A special thank you to our guide, Sudip. He was honestly a big part of what made the trek so enjoyable. Every evening after dinner, he would explain the plan for the next day, including the walking distance, altitude changes, and what we should be careful about. As first-time high-altitude trekkers, this made us feel much more prepared. Sudip also knew so much about the places we passed through. He shared stories about the local culture and pointed out mountains like Ama Dablam, which made us appreciate the surroundings even more.

There were definitely some difficult days, but having Sali and Sudip looking after us made a huge difference. We came back with tired legs, plenty of photos, and memories we’ll be talking about for a long time. Thank you to the whole Mountain World Treks team, and especially Sali and Sudip, for such a memorable EBC experience. 🏔️🙏

I planned and booked my trip with Sali directly and was guided seemlessly through the process. Sali even picked me up himself at the airport and helped me with some last minute shopping in Kathmandu. The next day I hoped on a heli to Lukla and was met by my guide, Tek, and porter Riddum.
Teks English was great and he briefed me about the route to come. Tek has over 12 years of experience in the area and lives on the slopes just beneath Lukla.
Along the way he described the scenery with local and English names and also took care of all the permit paperwork along the way. We passed thru villages, forrests and over bridges, all of which Tek would share information on.
Riddum is a strong, but rather quiet porter. I tried to engage him in basic English on occasion and he could reply although he’s a bit shy initially.
As we got higher on the trek Tek gave good advice as to pacing, nutrition and rest.
All in all I was very happy with my experience with Sali, Tek and Riddum. It was a safe and overall very well planned.

Amazing solo experience spent with Tek for EBC Trek, an amazing friendly guide. He knows the English very well and we share lots of beautiful moments together. Very willing to help when needed. I knew also Sali, the chief, great man, with a great company. I can’t wait to organise another trip in Nepal with them.

There’s nothing much to say about the ebc trail and weather, its beyond their control but for us it was superb. What i like most about this Mountain World Treks was their personal touch. The crew takes pain to ensure that we are all comfortable and safe.

I have just successfully completed my second trek with this company and, once again, came away with a positive experience. Trekking in the Himalayas requires local knowledge and experience and this company has plenty of both. It was important, trekking to EBC, to have the knowledge to get everyone there safely and with the best chance of not acquiring altitude sickness. We were a group of 8, ranging in age from 18 to 60’s and all of us were able to make it to Base Camp, thanks to Saligram, his expert knowledge and well-trained guides. Hopefully I will return to trek again with this company.

This (May 2018) was my second trek with Mountain World Treks, and once again I was not disappointed! Saligram and his guides are so knowledgeable about the area. We would receive a briefing each night about the following day’s highlights and challenges. The process of acclimatization, staying 2 nights in Namche Bazaar (11,286′) and 2 nights in Dingboche (14,469′) and allowing a total of 8 days to go from Lukla (9,383′) to EBC at 17,600′ worked perfectly for our trekking group.

A very well guided tour by Mr Saligram or should I say Sali Bhai and his team to the adventurous Everest Base Camp specially with my  son who has never been to these heights before.
Very well briefed and monitored by Sali Bhai each day was an achievement well earned. Sali Bhai and his team was all the way along with the trekking members like a family and never let anyone felt alone and demotivated.
It was a great experience for my son to have come out of his comfort zone to experience some thrilling and challenging days which I am sure he will cherish all through his life. This tour has given him good confidence to tackle tough conditions. I will give huge credit to Sali Bhai and his team who were continuously around.

On the whole it was a great experience and would love to recommend the tour to those who love challenges and excitement.

On a personal note Sali Bhai inspite of being an owner of ‘Mountain World’ is a very hard working person and down to earth. He is very committed to his work and take very good care of his team. I wish him great success and good luck for future…Cheers 🙂

A group of crazy trekkers, knowledgeable guides, gorgeous weather and amazing hospitality… That was my EBC experience. Sali bhai is a great trek organiser.. I will go with him to any mountain in the world!!!
