Everest Base Camp Trek with Helicopter Return |12 Days Plan

The Everest Base Camp trek was harder than I expected, especially at higher altitude, but reaching Base Camp made it worth it. The trail had beautiful mountain views, villages and some really friendly locals. The company handled all the arrangements smoothly and we never had to worry about anything. Khumbu Glacier was one of my favorite parts, and the helicopter flight back gave us a completely different view of the Khumbu Valley.

Just finished EBC and it was definitely challenging, mainly because of the altitude and cold. Our guides were friendly, patient and always checked on us. Everything was well organized by Mountain World Treks, so we could just focus on walking. I really enjoyed the villages and meeting the locals along the trail. Khumbu Glacier near Base Camp was incredible to see. We also took a helicopter back instead of walking, and the views from above were fantastic.

We recently did the Everest Base Camp trek and honestly, it was harder than I thought it would be. The altitude really gets to you, and some days felt very slow. The nights were also really cold. Luckily, Sali arranged some extra blankets for us, which helped a lot.

The trail was probably my favourite part. Small villages, suspension bridges, prayer wheels and the changing mountain views made every day different. The Khumbu Glacier near Base Camp was something else. It looks much more impressive in person than in photos.

We took a helicopter back from Base Camp. After walking through the Khumbu Valley for days, seeing everything from above was really cool. We had some cloudy moments, but whenever the mountains came out, everyone just stopped and looked.

The days were mostly clear with amazing mountain views, though the mornings and evenings were really cold. The trail was tough in places and the altitude made some climbs harder than expected. Our guides kept a good pace and checked on everyone. Mountain World Treks handled everything, so we could just focus on the trek. Reaching Base Camp was amazing, but the helicopter ride back was my favourite. Seeing the Khumbu Glacier and valley from above was unforgettable.

Everest Base Camp Trek with Helicopter Return |12 Days Plan

I did the Everest Base Camp trek in October and came back with a lot of good memories, and honestly very tired legs too. It is definitely not an easy walk. The altitude starts to make things harder as you go higher, and there were days when even a short climb felt much longer than it looked.

October was a really nice time to be there. We had mostly clear days and some amazing mountain views, although the mornings and evenings were quite cold, especially at the higher places. We were lucky with the weather for most of the trek, and those clear mornings made the mountains look even better. The trek was very well managed. Mountain World Treks had arranged everything beforehand, including accommodation, meals, permits and transportation. We didn’t have to keep wondering about where we were staying or what was happening the next day, which made a big difference.

Reaching Base Camp was obviously the big moment, but seeing the Khumbu Glacier up close was probably one of the things that stayed with me most. After days of walking through green valleys and villages, suddenly everything feels much more rugged and wild.

We took a helicopter back from Base Camp instead of walking the same route again. I’m really glad we did. Seeing the valley and mountains from above after spending so many days walking through them was a completely different experience. October gave us some beautiful views, and the helicopter ride was a pretty amazing way to finish the trek.

The Base Camp was obviously the main goal, but honestly, looking back, I think the trail itself was just as memorable. We passed through small villages, crossed suspension bridges, walked through forests and then slowly watched the landscape change as we got closer to the Khumbu Glacier. It never really felt like we were walking through the same kind of scenery for too long.

Altitude was probably the toughest part for me. There were days when i felt completely fine, and then a simple uphill stretch would suddenly feel like a lot of work. i had to slow down more than once and catch my breath. Our guides were really good about it though. They never tried to rush us and kept checking how everyone was doing.

Mountain World Treks had pretty much everything sorted from the beginning. Permits, accommodation, meals and the plans for each day were handled, so we didn’t have to spend our time worrying about logistics. We could just wake up, walk, eat, rest and enjoy the mountains.

We chose to take a helicopter back from Base Camp instead of walking the same route again, and I’m really glad we did. Seeing the Khumbu Valley from above after spending days walking through it was honestly a bit surreal. I could recognize some of the villages and trails from the air, which made it even more interesting. April also treated us well with some really clear days and great mountain views.

Overall, it was tiring at times, definitely, but I would do it again. The trek, the people we met, the views and especially that helicopter ride back made it a trip I’ll remember for a long time.

Did the Everest Base Camp trek in April and honestly, it turned out even better than I expected. The trail changes so much along the way, from green forests and little mountain villages to rocky paths and eventually the Khumbu Glacier. The altitude was definitely the hardest part for me, especially during the higher days, so taking it slow and getting enough rest really made a difference.

Mountain World Treks made the whole trip much easier. Our accommodation, meals, permits, transportation and daily plans were all sorted, so we didn’t have to worry about much besides walking. The guides were friendly and kept checking on everyone.

We walked all the way to Base Camp and decided to take a helicopter back instead of walking the same trail again. And honestly, I’m really glad we did. Flying over the Khumbu Glacier, villages and those huge mountains after spending days walking through the same landscape was such a different experience. It was probably one of my favorite parts of the whole trek.

Langtang Valley Trek | 10 Days Itinerary, Cost & Guide

Amazing Langtang Valley Trek with the Kyangjin Ri climb at around 4,700m. The trek had some tough moments, but the views and the whole experience made it worth it. Our guide Bipin was excellent throughout the journey. He was more than just a guide to us. I honestly felt like I was travelling with a younger brother. He was caring, easy to talk to, and always there when we needed him.

Really grateful for the memories from this trek. Thank you, Bipin! Hope to see you again on another trail. 🏔️❤️

Annapurna Base Camp Trek | 10 Days, Cost and Itinerary

I can understand now why so many people who’ve trekked with Mountain world Treks have left glowing reviews. I was fortunate enough to experience their warmth and professionalism first-hand.

I went with five other friends in April 2025 for the Annapurna Base Camp trek. Our trip spanned 10 days, with 6 days on the trail, and Sali arranged all the logistics flawlessly. Everything ran like clockwork, from airport pickups to accommodations and permits, leaving us free to focus entirely on the experience.

Our guide was Mr. Ishwor Duwadi, and I’m so glad he was the one leading us. He was patient, knowledgeable, and incredibly efficient in handling all our needs and requests. He truly made the trip unforgettable. His calm presence and encouraging words helped me push through the tougher parts of the trail and eventually reach base camp, a goal I once thought was out of reach.

On Day 2 of the trek, my raincoat gave way, and I ended up completely soaked. It was cold, miserable, and I honestly wasn’t sure how I’d continue. But Ishwor made sure I was taken care of and somehow managed to get me a replacement, something I didn’t think was even possible given how remote we were.

I’m already planning to come back and without a doubt, it will be with Mountain World Treks again. If you’re considering a trek in Nepal, I wholeheartedly recommend Ishwor as your guide. You’re in the best hands possible. Thank you again Sali and Ishwor.

Annapurna Circuit Trek: 12 Days Itinerary, Cost & Best Time

I had an incredible experience trekking the Annapurna Circuit with Niraj from Mountain World Treks. From start to finish, he was professional, attentive, and genuinely cared about making the journey comfortable and enjoyable.

Niraj has a great balance of experience and knowledge, but he is also easygoing and fun to be around. He adjusted to our pace without any fuss, shared interesting things about the local culture and mountains, and made sure everything went smoothly along the way. I always felt safe and well looked after, which made a big difference on the longer and more tiring days.

The Annapurna Circuit is an amazing trek with so much to see, and having Niraj with us made the experience even better. I would definitely recommend Mountain World Treks and Niraj to anyone planning to explore the Annapurna region.

I planned and booked my trip with Sali directly and was guided seemlessly through the process. Sali even picked me up himself at the airport and helped me with some last minute shopping in Kathmandu. The next day I hoped on a heli to Lukla and was met by my guide, Tek, and porter Riddum.
Teks English was great and he briefed me about the route to come. Tek has over 12 years of experience in the area and lives on the slopes just beneath Lukla.
Along the way he described the scenery with local and English names and also took care of all the permit paperwork along the way. We passed thru villages, forrests and over bridges, all of which Tek would share information on.
Riddum is a strong, but rather quiet porter. I tried to engage him in basic English on occasion and he could reply although he’s a bit shy initially.
As we got higher on the trek Tek gave good advice as to pacing, nutrition and rest.
All in all I was very happy with my experience with Sali, Tek and Riddum. It was a safe and overall very well planned.

Langtang Gosainkunda Trek | 14-Day, Cost, Itinerary & Guide

Our guide Dinesh was really great throughout the Langtang Gosainkunda trek. He took good care of us, arranged the meals and sorted out everything we needed at the camps. He was friendly, easy to talk to, and always patient with our many questions. There were a few tiring days on the trail, but having someone like Dinesh around made things much easier. I’d definitely be happy to trek with him in the mountains again. Thank you, Dinesh!
